1 August 2026 | 9:00am – 4:30pm
During this one-day training, you will learn how to give a deeply relaxing Ayurvedic foot massage using a Kansa bowl and specialised massage techniques of the foot and lower leg. The Kansa bowl, crafted from bronze, is renowned in Ayurveda as the Healing Metal and has been used for centuries to revitalise energy flow and restore balance within the body.
This course will introduce you to the fundamentals of working with the three Ayurvedic doshas - Pitta, Kapha, and Vata - and how to bring these back into balance within the body. You will learn how to locate the Marma points (Ayurvedic pressure points) of the feet and lower legs, working these points may help relieve certain conditions around the body. Massage techniques designed to enhance circulation and improve mobility are also included.
The massage is deeply revitalising for tired feet and legs, promotes deep relaxation and restful sleep, and helps to reduce pain and inflammation.
Kansa is a sacred bronze alloy of copper, tin, and zinc, used in Ayurvedic treatments for thousands of years and widely recognised as an effective tool for holistic facial rejuvenation. This non-invasive therapy helps soften fine lines, refine facial contours, reduce dark circles and puffiness, balance skin pH, and improve blood and lymphatic circulation.
At the heart of this treatment is hands-on Marma point massage. Gentle kneading of the facial muscles helps deliver nutrients that support collagen elasticity, while targeted stimulation of the Marmas releases subtle energy blockages and helps balance the Ayurvedic Doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha - the body’s three subtle energies).
The Marma massage forms the foundation of the treatment before moving to the Kansa Wand. Combined with relaxation techniques, lymphatic drainage, and scalp massage, this sequence enhances lymphatic flow, supports natural detoxification, and delivers visible facial lifting, refined contours, and brighter skin. Together, Marma point and Kansa Wand techniques offer a unique and highly effective approach to holistic rejuvenation. For optimum results a series of 4 full treatments is recommended.
This immersive two-day training is designed for both new learners and qualified therapists seeking to expand their holistic practice. No prior massage experience isrequired. The course is suitable for those exploring a new career path or for existing practitioners in Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Beauty Therapy, and Complementary Health. If you do not hold a relevant qualification but have a passion to learn, please contact us to discuss your pathway.
Perth training is delivered in small groups of six to ensure personalised instruction and one-to-one guidance. The learning environment is relaxed and supportive, with ample opportunity to both give and receive treatments. You will also learn to use the Kansa wand on yourself!, an ideal addition to a daily self-care routine with great results!.
